
SCT JEAN THOM SCHOLARSHIP FUND
Over the past several years, the SCT Jean Thom Scholarship Fund has awarded more than $30,000 in scholarships to Strongsville High School seniors pursuing performing arts studies (theatre, music, dance) at the university level.
Each year we host a special Tribute Show, with all proceeds benefiting our scholarship fund.

Scholarship Application
Strongsville Community Theatre is happy to announce we are now accepting applications for our 2026 Jean Thom Theatre Arts Scholarship. Application deadline is March 27, 2026.
WHO CAN APPLY?
This scholarship is open to Class of 2026 graduating high school seniors currently enrolled at and attending Strongsville High School. To qualify, the SHS Senior must be majoring or minoring in Theater or Performing Arts (theatre, music or dance) in college.
HOW TO APPLY?

2026 SCT Scholarship Winners!



On May 11th, we announced two recipients of Strongsville Community Theatre's Jean Thom Scholarship
in the amount of $5,000 each. This scholarship goes to deserving SHS Seniors pursing a degree
in the performing arts (theatre, music, dance).
Congratulations to this year's winners, Gabriella Burlinghaus & Madeline Droste!
This fall Gabriella plans to study Technical Theatre at Kent State University and Madeline plans to study
Musical Theatre at Baldwin Wallace University. We wish them both success in the future!
